With arts and education cuts, you need to find activities to engage and spark your child in these crucial years of mental, physical and emotional development – because they are growing now, and they can’t wait.

We know the arts help children develop literacy, motor skills, problem-solving, confidence, persistence, teamwork – and help kids imagine new possibilities.

So we’ve asked Visual, Literary and Performing Artists to share their skills! You’ll find fascinating, age-appropriate activities that kids can do at home, in classrooms, libraries, hospitals and community centers, with friends and family members of all ages and abilities, clubs and your own homemade arts education gatherings.

Many thanks to these caring creatives, donating their time and skills so your kids can learn, explore, experiment – and express their own original and wonderful ideas. That’s DIY Arts Education.

You’ll find activities for a range of ages that meet and exceed education standards, and we’re always adding more.

You can use our Contact page to share ideas and feedback, photos of your child’s creations – and we take requests!
