You can help the St. Petersburg Public Library illustrate this new Sparks story! – a bilingual celebration of reading and imagination, performed by Dora Arreola and Fanni Green.

Just share a drawing inspired by the story – or photos of you and your family reading – to illustrate a new free Sparks video you can watch and share.

Photos on your phone are great. You can send photos – or photos of your artwork – to spark@stpete.org by August 2, 2025 or use our Contact Page.

We’ll be sharing We’re Reading Everywhere! + ¡Estamos Leyendo Por Todas Partes! as a free performance in English + Spanish + ASL together on Tuesday, August 5 at 10:30 am at the West Community Library at 6700 8th Ave. N. in St. Petersburg FL – followed by an inclusive crayon drawing session hosted by visual artists from Creative Clay until noon.

¡Puedes ayudarnos a ilustrar esta nueva historia de Sparks! – una celebración bilingüe de libros y imaginación, grabada por Dora Arreola y Fanni Green.

Muchas gracias a las bibliotecarias maravillosas de la Biblioteca Pública de St. Petersburg, que están compartiendo los podcasts de audio durante el verano, e invitando a las familias a compartir fotos de niños leyendo en sus lugares favoritos, y fotos de dibujos inspirados en esta historia (las fotos en su teléfono son geniales).

Compartiremos esta historia como una presentación gratuita en inglés + español + ASL juntos el martes 5 de agosto a las 10:30 am en la West Community Library en 6700 8th Ave. N. en St. Petersburg, FL, seguido de una sesión de dibujo inclusiva con artistas visuales de Creative Clay hasta el mediodía.

Después, publicaremos videos ilustrados gratuitos con cada uno de los artistas jóvenes acreditados.
